On May 16th we signed a contract with Cheldan Homes to build our home. Cindy and I have done a lot of praying since we put our too small house on Ivyhill Court up for sale in February of 2007. We just wanted to test the market... There were two other homes for sale on our little street, so we were dumb struck when the third person to walk the home offered us our asking price. Now we had to move, but to where... That will have to be a story for Cindy to tell; so we will fast forward to the present.... We have finally found the home we starting looking for two and a half years ago and God has truly blessed us with the kind of neighborhood you only really see on the old TV shows where neighbors are helping each other with yard work or other projects...
My plan is to take a lot of pictures, so keep your fingers cross that I don't get board keeping this updated. Here are the first round of pictures.
To get the ball rolling, the builder has leveled off the lot...
and has started getting ready to lay out the slab...
